Globex Mining has made significant progress at its Russian Kid Gold Mine in Quebec.

The mine, located in Dasserat township, is currently under option to Rocmec Mining, which has begun thermal fragmentation on the first level so as to determine the gold grade and the best way to extract the precious metal.

Rocmec is also about to prepare for second level thermal fragmentation. The process is used for selective mining in narrow ore zones, leading to more precise extraction.

At the moment, a structural support system is being put in place in order to facilitate the extraction of the ore.

The drill defined gold zone at the Russian Kid Gold Mine has been attributed a resource of 1,124,532 tons of 0.247 oz/ton gold ore. However, this figure may or may not be reliable, according to Globex.

Globex is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and owns advanced properties with precious and other metals potential.
