US gold trader Lippincott has launched a new advertising campaign highlighting the continued presence of its website goldkit.com as the US' "number one online buyer of gold".

Advertisements on US TV networks including CNN, Fox and ABC, together with a major public awareness campaign, hope to boost the publicity surrounding the gold traders.

They use a mail system which helps customers identify the spare gold they wish to exchange for money and then securely posts it back to the Lippincott headquarters.

"Scrap gold, dental gold and platinum group metals are purchased by GoldKit.com and the highest prices possible are paid for these metals," explained Rick Zakroff, vice president of Lippincott.

Gold prices are currently at their highest price for 25 years, making now an extremely profitable time for individuals looking to exchange their scrap or dental gold.

Lippincott accepts broken or single earrings, rings, charms and pendants, as well as bridges, caps and dental gold castings, drawing on valuation experience since the company began trading gold in 1990.
