Tiffany launches China websiteFriday, 28th April 2006 (4553 views) Luxury jewellery chain Tiffany has launched a website in China, making use of the country's increasing use of the internet and demand for high-end products.The informational site features some 557 individual pages, the company said in a release seen by the National Jeweler. It includes information about Tiffany's range of gold jewellery, such as its 18-carat gold Etoile Twist ring, which retails for about £1,350. The website is the fifth from Tiffany after the jeweller created sites for the US, the UK, Japan and Canada. Also covered is a history of the firm itself, together with products available at Tiffany's stores in China. Specific sections contain information on diamonds, fine jewellery, timepieces and accessories. Tiffany's director for China, Sylvia AuYeung, said: "Since its founding in 1837, Tiffany has been recognised for its expertise in diamonds and fine jewellery, as well as the highest level of quality and customer service. "Our new website gives us a more efficient way to disseminate important information to existing and potential customers."
