Tuesday, 23rd May 2006 (5163 views) The Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Manufacturers Fair, one of the leading jewellery fairs for the East, is to take place from June 14-18.For a limited period, the fair will be open to the public as well as to international buyers. The event is taking place for the second time and international promotion through recent jewellery fairs has ensured a good response from visitors pre-registering to attend. Exhibitors will present gold and silver jewellery, precious and semi precious gemstones and pearls. Competitors are invited to participate in special events, including a gem-cutting contest and a jewellery design competition. As well as large exporters, a number of smaller manufacturers will be present at the fair, giving the opportunity for visitors to establish new business and make bulk orders. The exposition will take place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok, a purpose-built conference venue with two exhibition halls.
