Israeli jewellery designer David Weitzman has been creating unique and beautiful jewellery for over ten years, based on sacred geometry and symbols meaningful to ancient and modern religions. His knowledge of Israel, Jewish and Kabbalistic traditions has drawn him towards producing 'peace jewellery' in the heart of conflict.

The name of Weitzman's jewellery collection, Ka gold jewellery, comes from the ancient Egyptian name for the soul and human life force.

Weitzman concentrates on using gold for his pieces for similar symbolic reasons, seeing it as a sign of the sun with a connection to the spirit.

For those who believe in auras – coloured manifestations of an individual's personality - gold is also associated with powerful healing abilities and wellbeing.

David Weitzman’s 'peace jewellery' is designed in the hope of encouraging understanding between all religious faiths.

"Israel is a mirror of humanity," he says, of his inspiration. He believes that he learns patience and balance from working within the country, and wishes to distribute symbols of spirituality and peace worldwide.
