Fronteer intersects mineralisationWednesday, 27th September 2006 (2439 views) Fronteer Development has announced that it has received reports of a significant intersection at one of its sites. The Deli resource area is situated in north-west Turkey. Fronteer has been employing a subsidiary to carry out exploration work at the site. One drill hole, situated approximately 150 metres to the west of the main area at the Agi Dagi deposit has made an intersection of 3.96 grams per tonne of gold (g/t Au) over 111.3 metres, including an assay of 7.1 g/t Au over 15 metres. Other positive results from the site included assays returning 2.78 g/t Au over eight metres and 2.15 grams per tonne over 6.15 metres at hole AD-219. Hole AD-183 returned 5.42 g/t Au over 9.6 metres while AD-178 gave 3.21 g/t Au over 7.25 metres. Fronteer president Dr Mark O'Dea commented: "This is the best gold intersection to date on Agi Dagi and it is in a previously untested area. This hole reinforces our belief that there is great potential to add significant ounces to Agi Dagi's current resource base of 1,043,000 inferred ounces and 217,000 indicated ounces of gold."
