Mexico mineralisation minedThursday, 23rd November 2006 (2274 views) Geoinformatics Exploration has announced the latest results from its gold mining projects in Mexico.Located in Sinaloa, the company owns the La Noria and Azulitas projects in their entirety and has been undertaking a 3,200 metre diamond drilling programme with the first two holes completed. Both these holes were made at Azulitas with one hole finding a length of 63 metre at a grade of 0.1 grams of gold per tonne, including an even higher-grade gold zone where almost seven metres measured values of 0.43 grams of gold per tonne. Copper and silver were also found. The second hole drilled by the company intersected 84 metres at 0.08 grams of gold per tonne. Geoinformatics Exploration prides itself on an innovative approach to mineral exploration where it develops many significant properties in places like British Colombia, Nevada, Mexico and New Zealand. As well as the gold mining industry, Sinaloa is the most important state in Mexico for agriculture and also has a lot of fishing and tourism activity.
