Friday, 15th December 2006 (6771 views) Bollywood actress Minisha Lamba has been named as the person to endorse a new jewellery collection called Bollywood Gold, created by the Gitanjali Group.The new range was showcased at the Global Indian Film Awards in Kuala Lumpur on December 10th and the Bollywood Girl collection has been introduced in association with the World Gold Council. Ms Lamba fronts an advertising campaign for the offerings by D'damas Gold, said to be inspired by the Indian film industry, and the jewellery has already been used as product placement in the film Krrish. Gitanjali Group chairman and managing director Mehul Choksi, said: "Beyond all laws of trends and fads, gold jewellery in India has attained for itself a timeless connotation." "Gold offers a scope for a lot of design innovation and experimentation and we are glad to introduce our collection Bollywood Gold that translates the possibilities of this metal to the most beautiful adornments, for our customers in India and abroad."
