Gold production has got underway at Cusac's Table Mountain gold mine in the northern region of British Columbia, it has been announced.

The property is 100 per cent owned and operated by Cusac and prior to gold production at the site, the company embarked upon the milling of ore at the Rory Vein area on December 14th this year.

Production work at the site was also preceded by a tour of the location involving government officials, the media, investors and company executives whereby commemorative gold wafers were poured inscribed with Cusac's logo.

"Table Mountain is the only mine in British Columbia to start production in 2006," remarked Cusac's CEO David Brett.

He continued to say: "I am very proud of our hard working Cusac team, whose experience and professionalism has been critical to achieving this important milestone for the company."

The Table Mountain property is situated in the Cassiar gold camp which is described by Cusac as "prolific". The company currently holds the largest single claim holdings in this area.
