Tara Gold reports on future of San MiguelThe news feeds on this site are independently provided by Adfero Limited © and do not represent the views or opinions of the World Gold Council. Friday, 26th January 2007 (3276 views) A report that will go a long way to determining the future exploration strategy at Tara Gold's San Miguel project near Temoris, Chihuahua in Mexico, has been received by the company, it has been announced. The technical compliant report details issues such as the work completed to date, the presence of areas that have been flagged up for work in the future and resource estimates based on work previously completed at the site. At present, only a few of the drill holes completed have targeted a depth in excess of 120 metres and Tara Gold has said that in metal systems like the San Miguel project, ore shoots can be found at up to a depth of 300 metres. More promising information that bodes well for future drilling is the fact that only 2.7 kilometres has been worked upon out of a strike that measures eight kilometres. Tara Gold's San Miguel project is subject to a 70 per cent interest agreement with Paramount Gold Mining that requires an investment of $2.5 million (£1.28 million), 700,000 shares being delivered and other separate payments being made.
