The Wood-Pandora property in Cadillac, Quebec, has seen drilling work re-commence at the site as owner of the concession, Queenston Mining steps up its exploration.

Queenston has earmarked a total of $800,000 (£406,000) for the next stage of drilling at the site and the focus of the new exploration work will continue to be the previously drilled area at the Ironwood zone, the company has explained.

Ironwood zone has already had 26 holes drilled last year and of these, 23 yielded gold deposits that were found to be in excess of a 75 metre length.

At this zone, the highlights of previous work have seen 22.6 grams per tonne of gold intersected over 22.9 metres, as well as a true width of 19.1 metres yielding 8.9 grams per tonne of the precious metal.

It has been announced that Ray Zalnieriunas will supervise the latest round of drilling at the Wood-Pandora property and it will be left to Expert Laboratory to undertake the gold fire assay work.
