For those who would like to combine practicality with style, the new i-Disk Vogue USB memory stick from Pretec could be the answer.

Showcased at this year's CeBIT, the world's largest trade fair showcasing digital IT and telecommunications products and services, the USB stick can be purchased in gold or silver and can be worn around the neck as jewellery.

Not only can the product be worn as an accessory, the gold version also offers users a storage capability of up to eight gigabytes and is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux.

The Pretec i-Disk Vogue USB stick weighs one pound and offers a transfer rate of up to ten megabytes per second.

CeBIT 2007 was attended by around 480,000 people and the cumulative price of ICT investment deals made at the event were worth approximately €11 billion (£7.48 billion).

This year's event in Hannover, Germany, also saw 6,153 exhibitors displaying new ICT products from 77 countries across the world.
