Dolores drilling drives mineralisation upWednesday, 25th April 2007 (2124 views) Mineralisation at Minefinders' Dolores gold and silver project in Chihuahua, Mexico, has been increased following the latest bout of drilling at the site. This follows on from last year's "successful" expansion of mineralisation and 2007's exploration work has managed to increase gold and silver grades across a range of different targets. As a result of the recent drilling work at Dolores gold and silver project, Minefinders is busy preparing an update of its resources which will be "available for release shortly". In terms of "significant mineralisation" at Dolores, Minefinders reports that "several holes drilled at the end of the year encountered new zones" which displayed such occurrences. Throughout last year, the mining company completed more than 40,000 metres worth of drilling work, which incorporated 12 reverse circulation and 42 core holes in total. This campaign focused on two aims, the first being to expand resources and reserves and the other to provide specific information on "site condemnation, water exploration and engineering studies".
