Wednesday, 25th April 2007 (4965 views) His Excellency Sheikh Essam Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, chairman of the Sharjah Ruler's Office has opened this year's MidEast Watch and Jewellery Show.Taking place at the Expo Centre Sharjah, the event runs for five days and is supported by both the World Gold Council and the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It promises to be one of the most eagerly anticipated events of its kind in the world and is in its 22nd edition with over 350 master jewellers from across the world pencilled in to attend. Saif Al Midfa, director general of Expo Centre Sharjah, remarked: "The MidEast Watch and Jewellery Show is considered to be an ideal platform by some of the world's finest jewellers for launching their new collections in the Middle East every season." Exhibitors this year for the MidEast Watch and Jewellery Show will include Salem Al Shuebi, Damas, Dhamani Shattaf Jewellers and Royal King among many others. Although most pavilions at the show will be individual firms, there will be national exhibits on show from Italy, India, China, Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore.
