Lateegra releases Picacho resultsThursday, 26th April 2007 (2122 views) Lateegra Gold Corporation, in conjunction with partner Tara Gold Resources Corporation, has announced that it has the results from a first drill hole at their Mexico project.The El Picacho mine has undergone a 2,569 metre drill programme made up of 14 holes. It was designed to confirm historic data taken from a 22-hole drill and sampling programme which took place underground. The companies are very pleased with the new results mainly because mineralised quartz breccias or veins have been discovered in 13 of the 14 drill holes completed. Some highlights include a one metre length with gold grades of 21.4 grams of gold per tonne plus another one metre length with a grade of 8.75 grams of gold per tonne. Lateegra mainly focuses on developing and exploring gold projects in Mexico and South America, although it also has properties in Ecuador. Its focus is to continue to create value for shareholders through acquiring and developing through to commercial production high quality gold projects.
