"Impressive" Turkish results for NuinscoTuesday, 22nd May 2007 (2146 views) Drilling, which is ongoing at Nuinsco Resources' Elmalaan zinc-copper-gold-silver project in Turkey, has yielded "impressive" results, the firm has declared. As well as intersecting old grades of 0.5 grams per tonne, Nuinsco was also enthused to discover 2.43 per cent zinc and 31.07 grams per tonne of silver, all found over 10.10 metres. These finds have been over "significant widths" the company said in a statement and assay results have been collected by Nuinsco from six separate drill holes to date after these most recent results. Paul Jones, vice-president of exploration, stated: "The Elmalaan area has been the subject of only cursory examination in the past and the positive results from this first drill programme will be used to direct and expand further exploration later this year." Nuinsco Resources has also claimed that, aside from this campaign, previous drill holes created at the Elmalaan zinc-copper-gold-silver project have "returned anomalous base and precious metal mineralisation over a 350 metre by 450 metre area".
