Further mineralisation reported at Angostura

Tuesday, 19th June 2007 (2175 views)

Gold mineralisation has been further confirmed at Greystar Resources Angostura gold resource in Columbia, following drilling.

According to Greystar, the most encouraging results came from low angle fan drilling on two sections testing a 150-metre gap between Veta de Barro and Veta de Barro East.

Greystar's executive vice president Frederick Felder noted that the latest results from the 16 holes show the mineral continuity of the Cloud 1 bulk structure in the two regions as well as in the Los Laches area of the deposit.

"We will continue to focus our drilling efforts in these areas of the resource because this is where the most potential lies to enhance the already positive economics as indicated in Hatch's' draft scoping study," he added.

Testing at one Veta de Barro hole revealed 0.5 grammes of gold per tonne (g/t) over 28.05 metres, 1.13 g/t over 19.8 metres, 0.69 g/t over a distance of 11.5 metres and 0.69 g/t over 13.5 metres.

Another hole revealed two g/t over 15.25 metres, 2.3 g/t over 24.5 metres, 0.45 g/t over 11.8 metres and 0.62 g/t over 17.4 metres.
