High-grade gold discovered by San Gold

Mining company San Gold has announced the discovery of high-grade gold intersected at Rice Lake Deep.

San Gold reveals that hole 473-06-26 encountered 50.1 grammes per tonne (g/t) of gold over a length of 6.8 metres, and 14.6 g/t over 15.1 metres within a broader intersection.

"This significant intersection represents a down-dip extension of the high-grade 96-vein drill which is being developed at the 5,400-foot level and yielded an average of 62.0 g/t of gold over an average width of 5.5 feet," San Gold a statement noted.

According to San Gold, Rice Lake Mine contains measured resources of 320,100 tonnes at a grade of 7.9 g/t of gold and indicated resources of 644,000 tonnes at a grade of 8.2 g/t of gold.

It also has indicated resource of 964,100 tonnes grading 8.2 g/t of gold.

San Gold Corporation is a mining exploration company focused on gold exploration and mining in the Rice Lake Greenstone belt in Canada.
