Wednesday, 27th June 2007 (4771 views) Galantas Gold Corporation has announced that a new gold processing plant at Omagh, Northern Ireland will be used to feed its Irish gold jewellery product.Offering rings, earrings and pendants, Galantas states its collection "brings timeless elegance and contemporary style together in one exclusive range of jewellery". The firm hopes to use free gold gathered through equipment that has been temporarily installed at the Omagh site within its jewellery range and has also stated that further work will be carried out to "expand gravity concentrate production and enhance the capability of the plant". Galantas also stated yesterday that the plant features crushing, grinding and flotation circuits which the firm expects to provide 30,000 ounces of gold each year. Further improvements to the plant's operations hope to iron-out further inconsistencies within production quality and quantity, Galantas adds. The firm owns 100 per cent of its Irish subsidiary Omagh Minerals, which itself has total rights to a prospecting license for 189 sq km of County Tyrone land.
