Design of Gango gold mill plant commences

Pearl Asian Mining Industries has announced that it has begun planning the design of its gold mill plant in Gango Gold Rush in Bukidnon Province, Phillipines.

The gold mill plant is being designed to comply with government requirements on environmental protection and the well-being of surrounding communities.

"For this reason, Pearl Asian recently tapped the services of Clare Aslan, an Environmental Consultant from the USA, to do a detailed study and evaluation of the environmental aspect," the company announced in a statement.

Pearl Asian has also commenced gold mining activities on Masbate Island's Aroroy gold project.

Currently, 120 bags - approximately 3.6 metric tonnes - of raw ore on stock pile have been recovered, with the aim being to recover at least of 240 bags in order to generate an estimated 122 grammes of gold.

In other Pearl Asian news, the company has decided to temporarily cease mining operations at Binasan Gold mine following a number of mud slides, washed out roads and high river currents due to heavy rainfall in the region of late.
