Consolidated Spire Ventures (Cons Spire) has announced that it is "highly encouraged" by the completion of three diamond drilling holes at its Prospect Valley gold property, located near Merritt, British Columbia, Canada.

Some 500 metres of drilling has been completed to date, with assay results pending for the latest holes.

A fourth hole is currently being drilled at the site, where all other drilling operations have intersected consistent mineralised zones with a strong intensity of quartz veining.

The company is sending all drill core samples to be prepared and analysed by staff at the Eco Tech Laboratory in Kamloops, British Columbia.

Cons Spire currently has active gold projects in British Columbia and Mexico, including four newly-acquired claims in the Mexican El Oro Gold Belt.

The Prospect Valley gold property covers a land area of 10,796 hectares and is currently undergoing a drilling programme to test the depth of its gold system.
