The Eagle gold vein system on the Kenville gold mine has been extended by 50 metres, thanks to intercepts found in a recent drill hole on the property.

Anglo Swiss Resources has stated that the vein system could suggest a previously unknown target of gold mineralisation on the western area of the property, which is located near the town of Nelson in the Canadian province of British Columbia.

According to the company, the most recent discovery on the site is particularly significant, as it could indicate the potential for further gold veins to be discovered on the west side of the property's Eagle Creek.

Results for five final drill holes on the site are to be released shortly, concluding a 1,363.4-metre drilling programme on the property for 2007.

A Phase Two drilling programme totalling 10,000 metres is expected to begin in 2008.

Anglo Swiss Resources has three gold properties in British Columbia – Kenville, McAllister and the Blu Starr Gemstone property.
