Core drilling permitted on Nevada gold propertyFriday, 14th December 2007 (1909 views) Permission has been granted for Lincoln Gold to commence a core drilling operation on the Pine Grove gold property, it has emerged.The state of Nevada has approved plans for the drilling of four core holes on two areas of the site, which will be used to obtain metallurgical samples for future testing and analysis. Drilling operations will take place on the site's two patented mining claims, with a larger-scale exploration programme planned for the entire property in early 2008. It is expected that around 7,500 metres of drilling will be carried out on the entire Pine Grove property including its 93 unpatented lode claims during the larger operation. Lincoln Gold's portfolio includes a number of gold properties in the state of Nevada, as well as the La Bufa gold project in Mexico. The company's head office is located in Vancouver, British Columbia, with an operations office in Carson City, Nevada.
