Gold phone has a price tag of $1.43m

Friday, 28th December 2007 (2765 views)

A new phone made from red, yellow or white gold and studded with diamonds has been created by a Swiss jeweller with a price tag of one million euros ($1.43 million).

The new Goldvish Le Million mobile phone is currently on sale in Russia and just three units are available, each covered in crocodile skin and jewels.

Goldvish claims to manufacture and design the "most luxurious and prestigious cell phones in the world", with a range of models available in its range, each in yellow, white or rose gold.

Certified as the most expensive mobile phones in the world by the Guinness book of records, the Goldvish range is sold to the world's richest customers and adorned by "diamonds of the highest quality".

Sparkling phones have been recently popularised by celebrities such as Paris Hilton, who carried a jewel-encrusted mobile.
