"Heroes and villains" gold rings on displayThursday, 17th January 2008 (2764 views) A set of gold rings on display at a Manchester department store feature the faces of historic national leaders considered to be the "heroes and villains" of global politics.Famous faces depicted in the collection include Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill, Benito Mussolini, Mao Zedong, Che Guevara and Mahatma Gandhi. The rings were designed by Theo Fennell - whose fans include Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, Elton John, the Osbourne family, Elizabeth Hurley and Sarah Ferguson - and are currently available for public viewing at Harvey Nichols in Manchester. Earlier this week, the jewellery designer saw sales of his items rise two per cent in December 2007, compared with the previous year, sharecast.com reported. Other gold jewellery items in the Theo Fennell collection include sets of cornerstone and cradle rings, as well as intricate sculptured and skull rings. There are several Theo Fennell jewellery outlets around the world, including the flagship store in Chelsea and shops in Hong Kong, Dubai, Bahrain, Kazakhstan, Dublin, Russia and the Caribbean.
