Kent Exploration announces Rosebud gold results

Tuesday, 19th February 2008 (1743 views)

Assay results have been received for three of the seven holes drilled at Kent Exploration's Rosebud property in Arizona, the company has confirmed.

The holes were drilled in the autumn of 2007 on the property, which is located 36 miles north-east of the town of Kingman.

One of the holes intersected five anomalous gold and silver mineralisation zones, which returned gold grades averaging 1.5 g/t.

A second hole, drilled around 100 feet to the north-west, also intersected five mineralised zones, with the highest grade reported as 42.9 g/t over 1/5 feet at a starting dept of 223 feet. There were also 1.5 feet intervals recorded with grades of 18.45 g/t, 18.9 g/t and 5.73 g/t.

The last hole was abandoned after intersected previous works. Results are pending for two further holes that were drilled on the western portion of the property.

Rosebud comprises 40 unpatented claims over 820 acres. It also covers around 2,600 feet of underground mine workings that were developed between 1928 and 1930.
