Christina Aguilera 'inspires new jewellery line'Wednesday, 20th February 2008 (3145 views) Pop star Christina Aguilera is the "inspiration" behind a new collection of jewellery from London-based designer Stephen Webster, according to reports.Mr Webster told Marie Claire that he chose Ms Aguilera as she a long-term customer of his, is the right age for the brand and is in the "most glamorous period of her life right now". The new collection features 18 ct gold pieces alongside sterling silver and gemstones. It is divided into two sub-collections named Shattered and Superstud. In addition to being the inspiration behind the jewellery, Ms Aguilera will also feature in its Alfred Hitchcock-themed advertising campaign, which is expected to debut in April, the magazine reports. Commenting on Ms Aguilera's involvement, Mr Webster told the publication: "She was a real coup for us she is the main source of inspiration behind the collection." Stephen Webster celebrated 30 years as a jewellery designer in September 2006.
