Ola Jewellery has released its latest set of designs, the 22 ct Gold Collection, at shopping malls across India, according to reports.

Financial services site India Infoline says the new range is aimed at women who wear jewellery every day at work, as well as those who normally only use it for special occasions.

The 22ct collection includes rings and "superlatively finished" pedants, the site says.

It was simultaneously released to consumers across the country at retail sites including at the Inorbit Mall, Malad, the Atria Mall in Worli, the Isscon Mall in Ahmedabad and the Lifestyle mall in Bangalore.

Ola Jewellery's vice-president of retail, Sameet Neb, stated that the brand's success was down to meeting customer's demands for high-quality pieces at affordable prices.

Commenting on the new collection, he said: "Its price range fits in the budget while the perceived value is high fashion."

In related news, India's largest jewellery store was recently launched in the city of Chennai by Bollywood actor Prashanth.
