Colt Resources has issued an update of its activities on the company's exploration concession in Portugal.

The firm's main concession is the Penedono property in the north of country, which covers around 102.47 square kilometres.

Recent drilling at the site intersected gold in two known veins, as well as an additional vein located at 45-degrees to one of the existing veins.

Gold values from this work included intercepts of 5.90 g/t gold over one metre, 4.78 g/t gold over one metre and 4.80 g/t gold over 1.53 metres.

There were additional intersections graded at 8.96 g/t gold over 0.80 metres, 6.50 g/t gold over 0.57 metres and 8.30 g/t gold over 0.85 metres.

Other high-grade intercepts included 8.40 g/t gold over 0.57 metres and 11.10 gold over 0.23 metres.

Colt said it plans to follow up on these results with another diamond drilling programme set to commence in June.

The company is currently committed to the exploration of three mineral properties - Penedono and Armamar Meda in Portugal and the Extra High property in British Columbia, Canada. EXTRA
