Processing starts for Golden EagleFriday, 27th June 2008 (498 views) Golden Eagle International has announced it has started to process gold-bearing material at its site in eastern Bolivia.The mill at the C Zone has been undergoing tests for the past two weeks to ensure it its running optimally. Material has now been introduced at the mill and will the load will increase over the next 20 days until it reaches 200 tonnes per day, which is production capacity. Over the next six months Golden Eagle International plans to expand the mill to a estimated capacity of 2,000 tonnes per day. The company said: "The most sampled core area of its eluvial gold deposit in the C Zone contains 630,000 m3 (approximately 1.26 million tonnes) of mineralised material averaging gold grades in the range of 1 g/m3, but with a range as high as 1,400 mg/m3 and a cutoff grade of 100 mg/m3." Golden Eagle International owns 12,000 acres in the Tipuani gold mining district of western Bolivia.
