Explorator Resources has found a grading of 0.11 g/t of gold across 62 metres in the La Vidua zone.

The results come from the company's 30,000-metre drilling programme at the Chilean El Espino-Venus project.

Explorator Resources said: "The ... mineralisation intersected in the La Viuda area has a substantially higher proportion of gold than other parts of the El Espino system."

In addition, there is more vein hosted mineralisation at the site.

Other results from the project include 0.19 g/t of gold across six metres, 0.46 g/t of gold across ten metres and 0.84 g/t of gold across three metres.

The old La Vuida gold mine also reported results of 3.73 g/t of gold across four metres and 1.34 g/t of gold across two metres.

Phase III of the drilling programme at the zone will soon be completed.

In other news, earlier this week the company announced it had found 15.94 g/t of gold at the Chon Chon gold zone within the El Espino project.
