Major extension announced for Escondida veinTuesday, 29th July 2008 (403 views) Exeter Resource has announced a major extension to the Escondida vein in Argentina.Results from the vein system reported 471.9 g/t of gold across 3.55 metres. The gold grading result was found 400 metres from another high grade mineralisation site on the vein. In addition, this grade is the highest intersection found to date at Cerro Moro in the Santa Cruz province of the country. A further 2.3 kilometres extension can now be added to the vein in the south. Other results from the project include 841.4 g/t of gold across 1.2 metres, 11.2 g/t of gold across three metres and 32.6 g/t of gold across one metre. Exeter Resource's exploration manager, Matt Williams, said described the finding as a "bonanza intersection". He added: "The Escondida vein system is the primary gold structure that we have delineated to date at Cerro Moro and we will continue to drill test it for additional bonanza grade zones at depth and along strike." Exeter Resources also has the Caspiche project in the country.
