Grab samples grading up to 50.2 g/t gold were obtained by the previous owner from the project. In addition, confirmation sampling carried out by High Desert returned results of up to 11.9 g/t gold. The firm stated that it believes the site has the potential to "develop into a bulk mineable target". In the meantime, it intends to continue with its ongoing programmes focused on North America, particularly in Nevada and Arizona, along with a newly-launched project in Alaska. Recently, Rocmec Mining and Great Basin Gold joined forces to test a thermal fragmentation system for the first time in Nevada, according to the Canadian Mining Journal.
