Gold results from MAX's Indata projectThe news feeds on this site are independently provided by Adfero Limited © and do not represent the views or opinions of the World Gold Council. Friday, 24th October 2008 (1028 views) Exploration firm MAX has revealed that the latest drilling programme at its Indata project in British Columbia has been completed. All holes at the gold target encountered mineralisation made up of a variety of thicknesses, the company stated. The most significant intercept provided a section of 47.26 g/t gold over four metres, with an estimated true thickness of 3.5 metres. Historic results from the zone, collected by Eastfield Resources, had an average grade 8.41 g/t gold. MAX believes that previously discovered mineralisation can be extended through its current work. Recently, Romios Gold completed work at the Galore Creek area in north-west British Columbia. President Tom Drivas said that the wide intersection of high-grade gold during the programme indicated the "significant potential" of the region. Sampling of a breccia zone that was exposed in a cliff face provided an average grade of 0.68 g/t gold over a mineralised area measuring 20 metres by 62 metres.
