Friday, 24th October 2008 (2307 views) A new jewellery store has been opened in Victoria, Texas, by family-owned firm James Avery.The grand opening on Thursday October 23rd saw a donation being made to the Boys and Girls Club of Victoria that will help it to set up a charity meal initiative to feed needy children. Members of the Avery family were on hand to meet guests at the event and competitions were held for patrons to win several prizes. The firm has just launched its Avery Remembrance line, featuring gold rings adorned with a variety of gemstones for customers to choose from in order to represent a special event or birthday. Executive vice president Paul Avery commented: "We're very excited about this new Victoria store." He added that the venture would give the residents of Victoria "the opportunity to get to know James Avery". Meanwhile, in the UK, Edinburgh-based Diva Fine Jewellery revealed that it has bought in its new stock in preparation for Christmas.
