IBI launches expanded investor programme

IBI has announced the launch of a "more formal and expanded" internal investor programme in order to attract funding.

The junior international mining and investment company plans to focus on private investors, investment clubs, fund managers, brokers and analysts as part of its new communications campaign.

According to IBI, the firm has developed strong land positions in gold and received interest from potential joint venture partners and is now communicating its potential to the investment community.

The firm has appointed Hawlen Bay Consulting as its external investor relations organisation, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.

Gary Fitchett, IBI president and chief executive, commented: "For the past 18 months, IBI has been focused on building the company's fundamentals regarding uranium and gold exploration and development in Uganda and east Africa."

Based in Toronto, Ontario junior international mining and investment company IBI announced the start of an initial ground exploration program involving the its south-east Uganda Greenstone Belt gold lands interests earlier this month.
