Northern Gold Mining has reported that it has received and filed a National Instrument 43-101 report on its Frederick House Lake property in Northern Ontario.

Prepared by Gary Lohman, who has more than 27 years of exploration experience in Canada and internationally, the report recommended a $348,000 (£226,685) 2,000m drill programme to test large gold anomalies for gold mineralisation in bedrock.

The company plans to drill the programme during winter 2009 and has implemented a quality assurance and control system to ensure that all sampling and analysis of exploration work is conducted in line with industry best practice.

Located 35km north-east of Timmins, Ontario, the Frederick House Lake property consists of 18 claims comprising 333 units and is positioned along the projected western extension of the regional Pipestone Fault, home to a number of significant gold projects.

Toronto-based Northern Gold Mining is a junior resource company dedicated to gold exploration in Kirkland Lake and Timmins in northern Ontario.
