Monday, 23rd February 2009 (1760 views) A rare pink gold watch drew visitors to a stall at the fifth Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition in Qatar, the owner of the stand claimed.Cedric Burel, regional brand manager of Ebel in Dubai, told the Gulf Times that the pink gold perpetual calendar watch was one of just three that would ever by made by the Swiss company. According to Mr Burel, he received a lot of enquiries at the show about the watch and expected to sell it to the Qatar market. With a price tag of QR700,000 (£131,500) the watch has a black skeleton dial and is fitted with a black alligator strap. In other news, a gold watch that once belonged to former US president John F Kennedy will go on sale at an auction in New York next month and is expected to sell for more than £200,000. Presented to the then-president by supporters David and Evangeline Bruce, the watch was also owned by Jackie Kennedy's second husband Aristotle Onassis.
