A gold watch made by Omega is among the items due to be showcased at an event in Surrey later this year.

Details of the second Esher Hall Antiques and Fine Art Fair have been announced, with Sandown Park Racecourse playing host from Friday October 9th until Sunday October 11th.

Among those returning to the fair will be jewellery specialist Plaza, which is offering the 18-c timepiece for sale.

Dating from around 1950, the watch is valued at £3,500.

Organiser Ingrid Nilson of the Antiques Dealers Fair noted that visitors are expected to come from all around the country.

"We were pleased with the response when we launched [the fair] last year and will build on its success this year, while still maintaining the high quality," she added.

A gold watch given to Sammy Davis Jr by fellow member of the Rat Pack Frank Sinatra is to go up for auction next month.
