Slam Exploration has announced that it is open to a joint venture or partnership following the completion of a review of its gold projects in central Canada.

The firm has carried out a study of its prospects in north-western Ontario and believes the most attractive of its sites is Reserve Creek.

Slam carried out two drilling initiatives on the William Zone in the area between 2003 and 2008, finding "significant gold mineralisation" in 12 of the holes.

The company, which is based in New Brunswick on the east coast of Canada, also confirmed the existence of the precious metal at the KCR zone at Miminiska after conducting drilling last year.

Excavation in the area revealed a "silicified zone grading 5.97 g/t gold over two metres", the company stated.

Slam also has a number of sites in the Bathurs Mining Camp at New Brunswick, where it owns the Costigan, Nepisiguit and Nash Creek deposits.
